Setup takes less than 5 minutes for small fleets and under 30 minutes for enterprise fleets. You verify your USDOT or MC number, connect your active load board accounts (such as DAT or Truckstop), and set your initial floor rates. From there, Hey Bubba! starts finding, negotiating and booking loads for your fleet.

You need your active USDOT or MC number, company email, and carrier profile details. Hey Bubba! automatically verifies your safety rating, authority status, and equipment types directly from FMCSA databases during onboarding.

Yes. Drivers use the Hey Bubba! Driver App. When a load is booked, it is shared with the driver through the Driver App, including the load confirmation, pickup and delivery details, and load instructions. The app is designed for hands-free operation, so drivers do not need to keep it open continuously. Drivers should keep notifications enabled to receive important load and booking updates, and must always comply with distracted-driving laws.

Yes. Hey Bubba! is designed to scale from single-truck owner-operators running local freight to enterprise carriers managing hundreds of power units.

The interactive setup checklist walks you step by step through authority validation, load board authentication, rate preference configuration, and optional TMS integration.

Yes. Enterprise and multi-rig accounts can invite unlimited dispatchers, safety managers, and administrative users with customizable role-based access controls (RBAC).

Hey Bubba! supports all primary freight modes, including Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Stepdeck, Power Only, Box Trucks, and Hotshots.

Once your profiles and load boards are linked, Hey Bubba! immediately starts scanning active lanes that match your equipment and minimum floor rates.

Yes. You can update fleet size, trailer types, home base locations, and driver profiles anytime under your Account Settings dashboard.

No. Registration and account setup require no upfront credit card, so you can complete verification and configure your profile risk-free.

Hey Bubba! runs real-time FMCSA checks during sign-up. If your authority status or insurance records need an update, a notification banner guides you to re-sync.

Hey Bubba! supports voice and text in more than 40 languages, including Spanish, Hindi, French, German, Portuguese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Arabic, Turkish, Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, and many more. If you need a language that is not listed, contact us to request support.

Hey Bubba! connects directly through secure API integrations and authorized load board credentials. Once linked under Dashboard > Integrations, Hey Bubba! continuously scans live posts, matches lanes, and starts automated negotiation based on your preferences.

You need an active paid DAT Load Board subscription. DAT supports RESTful API integration with any level of its Load Board subscription, so you can use any DAT One carrier plan, including Standard, Enhanced, Pro, Select, or Office. A free or demo DAT account is not enough to connect it to Hey Bubba!

No. Hey Bubba! uses official integration interfaces and human-like rate inquiry flows that comply with load board terms of service, keeping to standard request limits and safe credential handling.

Yes. Enterprise accounts can centralize multiple DAT and Truckstop logins into a single team dashboard. Hey Bubba! organizes incoming load matches, bids, and booked load notifications by dispatcher or truck assignment, and authorized dispatchers can use the connected DAT integration without logging in and out individually.

Hey Bubba! queries connected load boards continuously in real time, identifying newly posted matching loads within seconds of publication to give your fleet a speed advantage in securing prime freight.

If an integration connection drops due to expired credentials, Hey Bubba! automatically pauses automated bidding on that channel and alerts your team by email and dashboard notification to re-authenticate.

Yes. You can configure Hey Bubba! to automatically post capacity and available trucks onto DAT One and Truckstop, updating availability status as trips complete.

The platform's automated deduplication cross-references origin, destination, pickup time, and equipment requirements to prevent double bids on the same broker load.

Yes. You can build saved search profiles based on radius searches, lane corridors, preferred origin states, and specific pickup and drop-off locations, so Hey Bubba! surfaces loads that match your preferred lanes.

Yes. You can search for and book multiple suitable loads on the same or preferred route, including round-trip patterns where the driver runs the same lane back and forth for a week, as long as the loads meet your requirements and the driver's availability. Hey Bubba! identifies and books suitable loads based on the planned route and your preferences.

Yes. Hey Bubba! extracts broker contact emails, phone numbers, load reference numbers, and rate details directly from load board feeds to streamline direct negotiation.

Yes. You can apply filter exclusion rules to skip unrated brokers, double-brokered listings, or loads lacking verified credit scores.

Integrations can be revoked or re-linked with a single click under Settings > Integrations without affecting your historical load records.

A floor rate is the strict minimum price per mile or flat pay rate you accept for a given lane. Hey Bubba! uses this baseline during voice and email negotiations, refusing any broker offers below your floor and pushing for higher target market rates.

That's your choice. You can have Bubba bring you every load to approve or decline, or let it book automatically within limits you set: lanes, equipment, rate floor. Either way, it stops and escalates to a person when a rate falls below your minimum, when contract terms aren't standard, or when there's a breakdown or safety issue.

Yes. You can define global minimum rates, set custom per-mile rules for specific geographic corridors, or adjust baseline floors to account for deadhead miles and regional diesel price changes.

Floor rates operate as hard limits within the platform. If a broker refuses to meet your floor rate, Hey Bubba! ends the negotiation and moves to the next available load.

Hey Bubba! cross-references real-time market spot rates, lane urgency, and historical broker margins, opening negotiation above your floor to capture the best rate for the lane rather than settling for minimum margins.

Yes. Floor rates can be assigned globally across the fleet, applied at the regional fleet division level, or customized per truck based on operating cost.

You can enable Total Trip Rate calculations, which factor deadhead miles from the driver's current position to the origin point into the minimum acceptable per-mile rate.

Yes. Dispatchers and fleet managers can adjust floor rates, pause Autopilot, or change lane target minimums instantly from a mobile browser.

Yes. The Hey Bubba! Profit Calculator and Cost Per Mile Calculator let you include fuel costs, mileage, driver pay, and other operating expenses to calculate load profitability and cost per mile. You can use these tools to understand fuel costs and estimate the potential profit of a load before accepting it.

You can configure policy rules that account for payment terms, for example accepting a slightly lower rate for 1-day quick pay versus a standard 30-day factoring schedule.

Yes. Analytics dashboards record broker counter-offer behavior, initial versus final rate spreads, and acceptance rates to refine future negotiation leverage on recurring lanes.

Yes. You can set rules that automatically raise floor rates on Friday afternoons, holiday weekends, or high-demand seasonal lanes.

Hey Bubba! includes standard accessorial fee baselines in negotiation, so detention and layover rates are agreed and documented before booking.

ActionWeave is the engine working behind Hey Bubba!, which is on the front line: finding loads, talking to brokers, and negotiating your rate. Once a load is confirmed, ActionWeave takes over the office work. It puts the load into your TMS by itself, checks the rate con against the deal you made, and gets your billing paperwork moving. You book the load once, and everything after happens on its own. More about ActionWeave.

No. If you run one to three trucks, Hey Bubba! alone does everything you need. ActionWeave is an add-on for bigger fleets, the ones running their own TMS or accounting software who want loads, paperwork, and billing to flow between systems without anyone typing it in.

ActionWeave comes with ready-made connection types for TMS systems, ELDs, load boards, and EDI, including Samsara, Motive, and DAT. You plug in your system's access key and it starts talking to it. It also connects to everyday tools: email, team chat, a CRM, and cloud file storage. If you run older or custom-built software, it can hook into that too through its open API and webhooks. See the tools connected today on Connected Tools.

Yes, provided the required permission has been granted. Once email access is authorized, Hey Bubba! can read supported attachments, such as rate confirmations and other load-related documents, and extract the relevant details from them to assist with load processing, verification, and booking.

A Trigger is the thing that kicks off the work: a broker's email lands, a rate con arrives, a scheduled time hits, or another system sends a signal. That is the phone ringing. A Skill is the playbook for one job. It tells the AI exactly what steps it is allowed to take and which tools it can touch, nothing outside the playbook. An Action is one single step in that playbook: putting a load into the TMS, making an invoice PDF, sending a text or email. One step, one Action.

ActionWeave reads the rate con and compares it to the deal Hey Bubba! made: the rate, pickup and delivery, and any extra charges. If the numbers do not match, it emails the broker and asks for a corrected rate con. If something looks off about the broker itself, it stops and sends the load to a real person to look at first. Either way, it never quietly puts bad numbers into your system.

You can ease into it with three settings. Read-Only Mode: it just watches, shows you what it would have done, but touches nothing. Internal-Only Mode: it does the prep work inside the system, but anything going out to the real world waits for your approval first. Live Mode: it runs on its own, but only the actions you have allowed, inside the rules you have set.

You set the limits, for example "anything over this dollar amount needs my OK" or "flag any rate terms that look unusual." When a job crosses one of those lines, ActionWeave stops, holds the work, and sends it to the person you picked. They approve it with one click, and only then does anything get written into your live system. Every approval is saved in the records.

Yes. If your company already uses RPA bots, you do not have to throw them out. ActionWeave puts them under its own supervision. It double-checks their work, keeps a record of everything they do, and has a backup plan when they fail. You keep what you have already paid for, just with more control.

Security is built into how the system works. Every company's data is kept completely walled off from everyone else's, and every message between systems is signed and verified, so nothing can cross over. The AI never holds your passwords or logins directly, access keys only open what they are supposed to, and every single decision is recorded so you can go back and see exactly what happened and why. Details of our SOC 2 Type II certification are on our SOC 2 Type II page.

Simple: it does not use AI for everything. The routine, repeat work, such as watching for updates, filtering out noise, and checking the same things over and over, runs on plain computer code, which is fast and nearly free. The AI only gets called in when there is a real decision to make. That keeps your bill down.

You can pick from the big names, including OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and Google (Gemini), plus open-source models if you want cheaper options, or bring your own. For companies with strict IT and compliance rules, ActionWeave can be set up to run inside your own private cloud, so your data never leaves your environment.

After the load delivers, ActionWeave keeps an eye on it. If the POD or BOL still has not come in, it automatically reminds the driver or dispatcher to send it, and keeps following up. Once the paperwork is in, it moves straight to making the invoice. No more finding out at billing time that the POD went missing three weeks ago.

Hey Bubba! connects through telematics APIs to read real-time GPS locations, available Hours of Service (HOS) drive time, and duty status. This prevents the AI from booking loads that would cause HOS violations or exceed legal driver limits.

No. Hey Bubba! manages loads based on the driver's available HOS pulled from your connected ELD, so you do not overbook yourself or accept a load the driver will not have enough legal driving time to complete. Trip durations are checked against remaining drive time before a load is booked.

Hey Bubba! uses the information available through your connected telematics or fleet management system and your account setup to access the relevant truck and driver details, such as location, availability, and equipment. You can also add this information directly in Manage Fleet by dragging and dropping your documents, then quickly reviewing and editing the details using the bulk edit options.

Yes. By combining live ELD drive-time data with destination ETAs, Hey Bubba! pre-searches load boards for high-paying reload options near your delivery point before the truck even finishes unloading.

Yes. Telematics connections use read-only OAuth authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and end-to-end encryption. Your driver telemetry data is used strictly for load planning and safety validation. More on our Trust page.

If telematics detect route delays that put pickup times past legal HOS limits, Hey Bubba! flags the dispatcher immediately and can send the broker an ETA delay notification.

For team driver operations, Hey Bubba! combines sleeper-berth and active drive clocks, adjusting the maximum daily mileage range accordingly.

No. Hey Bubba! uses read-only telematics APIs. It never modifies, alters, or writes to official driver logbooks or duty status logs.

Yes. The routing engine checks upcoming mandatory 34-hour restart schedules against trip durations so drivers can complete trips legally without a mid-route shutdown.

Hey Bubba! uses routing and mileage information to help evaluate loads, including total distance and deadhead miles. It is focused on load search, evaluation, negotiation, and booking rather than replacing a dedicated navigation system.

You can enable automated location updates, so brokers receive scheduled position updates without dispatchers answering manual check calls.

Yes. Telematics syncing can be enabled or disabled per power unit under Settings > Fleet Telematics.

Hey Bubba! filters out unassigned yard moves and maintenance segments, calculating available drive time strictly from verified active driver profiles.

Yes. By combining live GPS telemetry with active load board feeds, Hey Bubba! targets short-radius pickups, reducing uncompensated deadhead miles between loads.
